The Billy Button Babysitting complies with the Australian National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). •         from market research organisations we have engaged to conduct market research on our behalf.

•         to Parents, Adults who have requested introductions to babysitters, nannies, tutors, carers;

•         to Babysitters, Carers, Tutors in order to facilitate introductions to parents, adults;

•         to referees;

•         to contractors, agents and suppliers whom we have engaged to provide products and/or services on our behalf, for example, information technology service providers in connection with the BillyButtonBabysitting Platform and payment processors;

•         to assist in complying with certain laws and regulations;

•         to our professional advisors, such as lawyers and accountants;

•         if required by law;

•         to law enforcement bodies and when we have reason to believe that it is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against persons or entities that may be causing injury to you, to us or to others; and

OUR COMMITMENT TO DATA SECURITY

Credit card details are handled by the Company’s 3rd party Payment Gateway providers, leading PCI Compliant Providers of secure credit card processing solutions. The Company will never save your actual credit card details unless you specifically authorize this service for recurring payments. We will simply save a reference to your card, which is called a token. This token is provided to us by our Payment Gateway. Saving the token means that for future credit card transactions we can give you the option to charge the same card you used previously without having to re-enter the card details. For the avoidance of doubt, the Company will not in any circumstances be liable to you, or third parties, for loss or damage arising from credit card fraud or identity theft.

AGGREGATE INFORMATION

LIMITATIONS OF OUR SERVICE

BillyButtonBabysitting.com  has a team of vetted Nannies, Babysitters, Tutors and Carers that are independently responsible for their own Tax and Financial obligations in accordance with Australian law.  We do not employ any Nannies, Babysitters, Tutors and Carers, nor are we an employment agency or a recruitment agency for any Nannies, Babysitters, Tutors and Carer. 

As described in these Terms and the Data Policy, we do verify, review, evaluate, interview, screen, vet or perform background checks on Nannies, Babysitters, Tutors and Carers.

There are risks, including but not limited to risk of physical harm, when you deal with someone you connect with through our Site. You assume all risks associated with dealing with other persons with whom you come in contact through the Site.

BillyButtonBabysitting is not responsible for the conduct, whether online or offline, of any user of the Site or the Services. Moreover, BillyButtonBabysitting does not assume and expressly disclaims any liability that may result from the use of information provided on our Site. All users, including both a Nannies, Babysitters, Tutors, Carers and parents, adults, do hereby expressly agree not to hold BillyButtonBabysitting (or BillyButtonBabysitting officers, directors, investors, subsidiaries, agents, assignees, representatives, advertisers, marketing partners, licensors, independent contractors, recruiters, corporate partners, resellers, or employees, hereinafter “Affiliates”) liable for the actions or inactions of any Nannies, Babysitters, Tutors and Carers or parents. Adults or for any information, instruction, advice with originated or services that were arranged through the Site, and, to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law, BillyButtonBabysitting and its Affiliates expressly disclaims any liability whatsoever for any damage, suits, claims, and/or controversies that have arisen or may arise, whether known or unknown therefrom.

The results of any Verification Checks on you may impact your ability to access and use BillyButtonBabysitting.com Services.
