This Winter 2025 will be our 5th Season in the Snowy Mountains and Australian Alpine Regions. Leaving your child in care when visiting the  Snowy Mountains or any of our other locations, should be approached with care and responsibility. Leaving your child with just anyone in a transient traveller community should be taken seriously, especially since most of the winter workers are seasonal.

Not  many people understand that the snowy mountains work journey from Jindabyne and surrounds, means carers are travelling in rural driving conditions. With Snowy / Windy / Wet conditions. Our roads are riddled with potholes, holiday drivers that have never driven with chains on their cars or even in the snowy conditions. Then we have our local wildlife whom we share this space with.

We are also the only childcare agency in the Snowy Mountains that is registered with all the regulatory industry bodies. 

There is no illusion that the weather has impact on getting to the resort for the day. However traffic and other travellers on the road impact your journey too. Once the resorts parking reach capacity, the National Parks close the access to the resorts whether you have a pass or not!! You will sit in traffic for hours if this happens. So when we recommend you book early for your carers, you are getting locals inside information they do not tell you when you book your season pass or day pass. 

In 2022 and 2023 WINTER SEASON almost 80% of the children in our bookings had a runny nose or cold. If you do not tell us this vital information and you do not tell us that your child is on medication, it can have huge implications on how a carer reacts from a first aid perspective. It is a basic Duty of Care to your child and it ensures we can provide the specialist care your child will need, around their wellbeing needs.
